For the past several months, there has been plenty of talk about a new Dollar General Store to be built on the corner of the 4-way stop in Decaturville. Finally, people are able to see the talk turn into action. The foundation for the new store is down and the progress has begun. Last week, you may have seen a man pulling a cart surrounded by flags in Decatur County. That man was Robinson, a Vietnam marine military police veteran, and he is on the hike of a lifetime, the “Honor Hike Across America”. It’s an honorable mission, a mission to walk across the 48 mainland states and visit each and every capitol getting proclamations signed to recognize a “Brother to Brother” day each year on September 10.
