On June 22nd Missionary Grove Baptist Church in Camden is hosting, Run for the Kids, a 5K Benefitting The Brad Coleman Cancer Foundation. Defensive Tactics Class For Women (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
A Defensive Tactics for Women class will be held June 22 at the Riverside High School gym from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The class, sponsored by the Decatur County Sheriff's Office, is open to women ages 13 and up and will be instructed by Ki Shin Do Martial Arts Academy. Station 3 Fish Fry (3:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
Station 3 Fire Dept. will have a catfish fry June 22. Serving begins at 3 p.m. Sit-down or take-out. Plates include five piece fish, hushpuppies, mayor or vinegar slaw, french fries or white beans and tea for $8.

Homecoming At Cub Creek Hall (10:30 AM - 11:30 AM)
Cub Creek Hall Baptist Church will have their annual Homecoming on June 23 starting at 10:30 a.m. with preaching at 11 a.m. followed by lunch afterwards. The Labourers will be the featured group at 1:30 p.m. Cub Creek Hall Baptist Church was organized in 1890 and has served the community for 123 years.

Bunches Chapel Homecoming (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
The Bunches Chapel Homecoming has been changed from the third Sunday in June to the fourth Sunday in June. Homecoming this year will be on June 23. Preaching will begin as usual at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:00 in the fellowship hall. Singing in the afternoon will feature the "Ole Tyme Harmony Quartet". The singing will start at 1:30 p.m.

Odle Reunion (12:00 PM - 3:00 PM)
The annual reunion for descendants of Howell Jackson and Barbe Thomas Odle will be held Sunday, June 23 at the Decatur County Civic Center pavilion from noon until 3 p.m.. Please bring a covered dish and pictures and stories.

The Riverside High School Class of 1988 will have a reunion Saturday, June 29 at 6 p.m. at Decatur County Middle School. Bring finger foods and enjoy good company with old friends.

Trinity Assembly of God in Decaturville will have a 4th of July celebration on June 30 with games, jumpers, food, fireworks and homemade ice cream. Festivities will begin at 5 p.m.
