UT Extension Service in Decatur County is offering a Tennessee Master Beef Producer Program. This is an educational program designed to provide current research based information and recommended production practices to beef cattle producers.

Classes will be held Jan 27, 30 and 31. Each class will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Registration fee is $125.

Graduates will qualify for 50 percent cost share on designated Tennessee Department of Agriculture Ag Enhancement grants.

Those interested in participating are asked to register by Jan. 22 by calling our office at 731-852-2831.

The Tennessee Master Beef Producer Program is open to any interested cattle producer or individual. Programs in agriculture and natural resources, 4-H youth development, family and consumer sciences, and resource development. University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Agriculture and county governments cooperating. UT Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment.
