Arther Ray Montgomery, 80, of Bath Springs, Tenn., passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020 at AHC Decatur County.

He was a self-employed logger.

Arther Ray isĀ survived by his wife, Betty Ann Montgomery, of Bath Springs; a son, Todd Montgomery, of Bath Springs; a sister, Peggy Lee Montgomery, of Bath Springs.

He is also survived by three grandchildren, Madison McPeak, Chase Montgomery and Alexis Montgomery; and one great-grandchild, Cannon McPeak.

He was preceded in death by a son, Tony Montgomery; a great-grandchild, Carter McPeak; and his parents, Clifford and Jennie Montgomery.

His funeral service will be held at Reed's Chapel, Decaturville, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7 with Wayne Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. until service at Reed's Chapel in Decaturville.

The family request no food be brought to funeral home and attendees to wear a mask.
