Junior Lee Mayo, 80, of Decaturville, passed away Tuesday, July 27 at his home.

He was a retired self-employed painter, a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam and a member of Decaturville Pentecostal Church.

Junior is survived by three daughters, Laura (Brandon) Scates of Parsons, Amy (David) Northcutt of Scotts Hill and Lisa (Bobby) Keen of Decaturville; and a brother, Edward "Mutt" Mayo of Decaturville.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jacob and Aaron Keen, Zack, Codie Marie and Ava Northcutt and Brady and Dawson Scates.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Mayo; a grandson, Mason Keen; parents, Charlie and Exie Mayo; two brothers, Gilbert and James Mayo; and by three sisters, Lorene Young, Agnes Phillips and Louise Mayo.

His funeral service will be held at Decaturville Pentecostal Church, Decaturville, TN, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 29 with Bro. Welvon Mayo officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville and Thursday 9 a.m. until service at Decaturville Pentecostal Church.
