Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Perkins, 69, of Decaturville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18 at St. Thomas Mid-Town Hospital in Nashville.

Liz was born Jan. 14, 1952 to the late William and Velma Swift. She was retired from Kolpak, an LPN and a member of Amazing Grace Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Jason) Harper of Parsons; a son, Derek (Mona) Davis of Decaturville; three sisters, Joyce Blankenship of Brownsville, Gail (Mike) Smith of Linden and Becky Moody of Parsons; three brothers, Jerry (Grace) Swift of Decaturville, Bobby (Nellie) Swift of Decaturville and Ronnie (Jettie) Swift of Decaturville.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Aaron Davis, Ryan Brown and Sarah Brown; and one great-grandchild, Olivia Brown.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Israel Brown.

Her funeral service will be held at Amazing Grace Church in Parsons at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22 with Bro. Chris Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Decaturville Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Reed's - Decaturville and Tuesday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. until service time at Amazing Grace Church.

Face masks are preferred during the visitation and funeral service.
