Michelle Tubbs, 54, of Parsons, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020 at Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson.

Michelle worked in the nursing field for 25 years. She was an EMT. She never met a stranger. She enjoyed her kids, grandkids, and dog, Teddy.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley Lewis Tubbs of Parsons; sons, Anthony (Emily) Kathe of Kansas, John Tubbs of Waverly, Cory Tubbs of Waverly, Scotty Tubbs of Parsons, Gary Tubbs of Waverly and Chris Tubbs of Watertown, Tenn.; daughters, Courtney Stokes of Parsons and Tracy Brister of Parsons; brother, Jon Thiene of GA; sisters, Billie Brown of KY, Regina Hoffman of Hohenwald, Kim Wilkerson of KY, April Carter of KY, Candice McKinney of KY and Genger Stewart of KY; 24 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Boyce; father, William F. Stewart; adopted - father, Milton Thiene; and brothers, Craig Pierce and Andrew Boyce.

The Tubbs family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020 from 2 until 8 p.m. at Parsons Mortuary. Visitation will continue Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020 from 9 a.m. until time of service at Parsons Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Parsons Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
