The Riverside High School dance team was so glad to be back at Mississippi State University for UDA Dance Camp June 8-11. The team had a great week and brought home a second place home routine trophy, Superior Trophy, bid to Nationals, 4 All-American dancers (McKenna Jordan, Lexie Morgan, Jaycee Romines and Anna Townsend), Pin-It Forward recipient selected by UDA staff (Anna Townsend), Spirit Stick, and lots of memories!

Pictured with Riverside team members is the Oxford High School Dance Team. To honor late team member Emma Cruse, RHS Dance members wore purple hair bows each day of camp. Oxford's coach noticed and asked the story behind wearing them. After the team shared why they wore purple, Oxford's team handmade and delivered a card to RHS Dance to show their support and sympathy. This camp was special in many ways, but the genuine kindness and sportsmanship shown between these young athletes is something that will be remembered for years to come.

The RHS dance team looks forward to a great upcoming season and is so excited to perform for their community and Panther teams!
