The Scotts Hill Lady Lions were back on the pitch last week in their first district match of their soccer season. With new coaches and a young, but eager team, the ladies have progressed alongside each other for the foundations of an exciting season. The team welcomed back two seniors, six sophomores (three unable to play currently due to medical/extenuating circumstances); and ushered in multiple freshman/new players to form the 2020 Lady Lions soccer squad. Senior, Taylor Mills, and sophomore, Addison Cameron, scored a total of five goals with the assistance of the squad from every position on the field to win 5-0. Coach CJ Kapp says he is proud of how the team has begun to come together despite having a few unfortunate circumstances thrown at them early in the season. Coach Kapp is excited to see how the team grows and is thankful for the opportunity for him and his wife, Teri, to be a part of the SHHS coaching staff.
